I just downloaded the new Dreamweaver 2014 and I can't Put any of my files onto the remote site. I get an error message "An FTP error occurred - cannot put awards.htm. Internal data error: Transferred file size does not match the expected file size."
However, using the EXACT same FTP settings and using Dreamweaver CC, I have no problems getting the remote site updated.

I have Mac OS X 10.7.4 on a MacBook Pro. The menu bar is getting cluttered. I have Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop (and Reader). Is it necessary to have the Adobe Updater icon on the menu bar? If it is not necessary (if its function can be otherwise accomplished), I would like to remove it. How is that done? Thank you.
I've just upgraded to Dreamweaver 2014.1 from 2014. The problem that I have is that in previous versions (going back to at least CS5) I could select a bit of text or an image in the WYSIWYG editor in split view, then click the code views scroll bar and it would select the same selection in the code. This was massively helpful for easily finding a bit of code that I want to work on that is buried miles down a stack of tags. Now it just seems to do a select all on the code in the code view.
It seems to be related to the new WYSIWYG selection feature in 2014.1, so I'm hoping that someone knows how to turn this feature off, and hopefully, I will get my old functionality back.
In CS6 CodeView i could see the codepage info in the Statusbar at bottom right of the current Document ( UTF-8 etc ) - Cant find it in CC2014.
Is this a setting issue? Now i need to hit Cmd-J and some clicks to find the Info instead of just looking at the bottom right corner.
Can someone help me?

I have created a root menu / contents page on one of my slides for a presentation.
My desired action is that when the user clicks a button, which is set on the last slide of each section, it will take the participant to the root menu, and the tick against the section they have just completed will be made visible. How do i go about achieving this?

Less than a month ago I've asked the community on the issue related to APPCRASH in Dreamweaver CC (APPCRASH returns again). Due to community's assistance the problem was solved.

When editing a site in "Managed Site" mode... ONLY the "LIVE" view button is available. When I edit a page that is not part of a "Managed Site", then the Design & Live view dropdown has both options. I still want "Design View" when editing a "Managed Site"

I have a css image gallery which uses hover - as I now realise that it does not work on touch-screen devices, I need to find a way of converting hover to click (onClick?). I can't alter the way that the gallery works - its exactly what the client wants, and they have rejected every single alternative. So I really need to find a way of amending the existing code...

(The brief was to produce a simple gallery, with the functionality to add html (including links) below the large images. There should be a thumbnail grid above the large image area - clicking on an image should open the large one (plus html)), which should stay on screen until another thumb is clicked. The thumb grid must be visible at all times, including when the large image is on screen, so a lightbox gallery is not suitable. The thumbs must all be visible, in rows, not as a scrollbar, which counts out all the scripted galleries I've found.)

With the latest DW CC 2014.1 update the code coloring seems to be messed up for Cold Fusion code. Specifically the comments. How can I get back the nice grey color for Cold Fusion comments instead of the black it is now? I was hoping you would bring back more support for your own product code but instead it looks like you are taking more of it away. Very troubling.
I have a site www.wildfowlphotos.com and when I use the preview function everything is shown perfectly in both explorer and crome, but when opened in the browser only codes are shown. It used to be shown perfectly, but for some reason - and I have done zero until the last couple days - it now only shows the codes. I have tried in vain to solve the problem. Anybody knows what is wrong???
I noticed Adobe turned off discussion for several related topics involing this, and I really don't find that reasonable as people are mad so I'm reviving it to remind you it needs to be handled.
I find it absoltely rediclous that you guys take out every language except PHP. Definately a step in the wrong direction and its embarassing to Adobe's own product and a huge shot to Adobe's claim of wonderful integration.
This is has been out for almost a half a year now and it still is not resolved in the DW CC download install, so I can only take that as you have no intention of fixing it. That is quite a arrogant stance no doubt fueled by CC's subscription autobilling and the umbrella of products you THINK people can't work without like Photoshop. Coming with subscription based solutions requires customer trust, and this is not a very good start. Whoever made this call should be fired, as they clearly didn't care what the public thinks.
If Adobe doesn't add ColdFusion support back (not a rig job tutorial), then I'm going to install CS6 again and ride that out forever. I can easily ride CS6 out and be happy with the features in Photoshop and the video suite. New features in those are light anyway and everything Dreamweaver does can be done by hand in another IDE. I will cancel our CC subscriptions if this is not resolved. If you won't listen to feedback, then you'll listen to actions and revenue fallout.
Hello everyone. I have the latest version of Dreamweaver CC. I can't seem to find the PhoneGap Build option under Site Menu. This is a fresh install of DreamWeaver and I haven't installed any of the iOS or Android SDKs yet but I noticed PhoneGap Build was not where it use to be in my Dreamweaver. Has it moved or do I need to install it as a Browser Addon? I also check the available Browser Addons and I wasn't able to find it in there. Any help I can get with this would be greatly appreciated.
Um... just updated and went to open some ColdFusion files I normally work with but can't open them at all. They are grayed out. And there is no longer a ColdFusion option in the "New" panel. And in preferences you cannot select ColdFusion as the default document type.
Did I just miss where it is?
I can also no longer connect to any of my Business Catalyst websites using the Business Catalyst palette in Dreamweaver.
Anyone else having this issue? Any and all help with a resolution to this issue/problem would be greatly appreciated.

Use Dreamweaver CS3. Retrieved file is blank. Tried passive, nothing happened. also got error message timing out. My web master can connect with the website with his computer. He tried to fix mine but can't figure it out why the file is blank.

I've developed a dreamweaver/coldfusion/mySQL site that I wish to deploy. I bought Creative Cloud in the hope that the components that work perfectly on my machine could be deployed to the CC site. This appears not to be the case. If Adobe products don't integrate here the CC subscription becomes a trifle redundant?
Q1. Does this mean I need another supplier to host coldfusion and yet another for mySQL and if so who?
