Windows 7, DW CS 4: Error: 148:3 (Error in the License Process)
Beim Start von DW CS 4 erscheint folgende Meldung:
"Bei diesem Produkt ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Der Computer muss neu gestartet werden, bevor die Anwendung aufgerufen werden kann.
...
Fehlercode:148:3"
Auch nach dem Neustart lässt sich die Anwendung nicht öffnen

CS5.5 Split screen/code navigator crash with mac OS 10.10.1
I am using CS5.5 on my macbook pro. Since I've installed 10.10.1, when I try to open code navigator or change to split screen, I get the spinning wheel and need to force quit DW. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix for this? It worked great before OS10.10....thanx in advance.

Unable to connect to a remote MySQL database with FTP from 'MySQL Connections' despite all connection parameters being valid, just get "an unidentified error has occured" message.

Latest update (build 6947)
Having trouble with this release. Lots of display errors. When I try and type text into a table cell, it either doesn't update on screen or a chunk of it or all of it goes blank. The only way I can refresh the screen and update the display that I have found is to click on the display option button where you choose live/design. This means I am typing blind which is really annoying.
Using a late 2013 Macbook pro.

Downloaded our web site successfully, however ASPX files cannot find editor to open them.
We have downloaded a copy of our web siote to a local folder. Opens fine, but cannot find editor for ASPX files. What did we miss on setup?

Best way to configure MySQL connection scripts for local and remote hosts
I am curious if there is an efficient way to do this. I have my local MAMP testing server, and then a remote server, both with MySQL. The pages requiring PHP and databases start out with a link to my connection script. However, the connection details for my local vary from my remote servers. I either have two connection scripts and have to change every page's link when I upload, or have one connection script and change that directly every time I work between the two.
How do people go about working in local and remote environments efficiently?

Dreamweaver Public_html errors
I am fairly new to web design and FTP stuff. With that being said I am not as knowledgeable as I need to be to apparently fix my issue. The website I am working on was built by someone else years ago. The business updates it themselves. They had to wipe their computer hard drive aw few weeks ago and obviously broke the site. So I reconnected the site to Dreamweaver but I have not been able to get it to update to server using FTP I have tried so many things I am worried I will make it worse. In an effort to avoid breaking it or making it worse I deleted the site, re-defined it and went to put it back on the server. And I noticed not all the files deleted? It still shows the cgi_bi folder, a web~ folder and then the public_html but now I keep getting errors saying "an ftp error occurred cannot get server folder information access denied. The file may not exist or there could have been a permission problem make sure you have proper authorization on the server and the server is properly configured" when I go to put the site on the public_html folder. Is this a Dreamweaver problem or a server problem?!!?!?!

Remote Server Error
Whenever I connect to the remote server I receive a error message, "Cannot display the server folder: ..." Does anyone know how to resolve this error? Is it a issue with WebDAV, the Server, and/or Dreamweaver?

How can I create tabbed panels using Dreamwaever CC, similar to Spry version available in CS6?
I used Spry tabbed panels in a site. Need to recreate that page on another site using Dreamweaver CC. CC has no Spry components anymore. Can anyone suggest a 3rd party product or alternative method to make similar panels in a page without having to hand code html-css-java?

.gif Images not showing up in IE8
I have 2 images in my menu bar header that are not showing up in my header for some reason. They show up in IE9, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. But for some reason they aren't showing up properly in IE8. I'm not sure what the problem is. Every page on the website has this problem. Below is a link to one of the pages.

Out of memory errors when reporting on checked out files
My Dreamweaver CC version is up to date. I haven't been able to complete a report to find checked out files. I can see it running at a speed of about 2 files per second. We have a few thousand files on the web server, but I didn't have a problem with CS5.5. I can't understand why it takes so long to simply search for .LCK files. I can search for them using Agent Ransack in a matter of seconds. I've seen some other out of memory issues posted here too, so hopefully Adobe can get this fixed and release the next update soon.
(I haven't seen any improvement in performance with the 64-bit re-engineering.)

I need a product key to access my old DreamWeaver CS3 to access information to pull over to Muse CC.
Our old websites were built on DW CS# and that is where all of the files are stored and now I cannot access any of them. I cann access the site via the FTP server but this is not what I need. I need a product key to access my old DW. Please help.

how do i upload a new htm page via cpanel
New to dream weaver but the entire site at my company uses this so i am trying to help as web guy is absent.
created a html page then saved it to desktop and uploaded via cpanel because the remote hosting is not connected as dreamweaver is just used to code then files are usually dropped FTP or cpanel.
Question is when adding a page... in the appropriate folder.. is the link automatically made or do u have to change the sitemap or index pages as well.. i only want to have the link live but 404 error keeps coming up.

CS6 Dreamweaver and InDesign quit immediately on startup.
I have installed CS6 Design and Web Premium on a MacBookPro OS10.9.4 that also has CS5 Design and Web Premium installed. Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, Fireworks and Flash all open without problem. BUT CS6 Dreamweaver and InDesign quit immediately on startup. CS5 programs all still open without problem.

DW CS5.5 Error "A script in file UNKNOWN has been running for a long time"
Using Dreamweaver CS5.5 subscription.
Very frequently in code view, when I select or begin to select code for copying, the program hangs, the screen grays out (makes it so I cannot click on dreamweaver). The top of the screen in Dreamweaver says (not responding). After a long, long time (minutes), a window opens and says:
A script in file UNKNOWN has been running for a long time. Do you want to continue?
Clicking "No" removes the inability to click in Dreamweaver. I am then able to select and copy the code. The message "not responding" goes away.
This happens repeatedly all day long as I am working.
A bug?

How do I auto update hompage when making a new post
Hi there folks
I am new to this forum and hoping I can get some help. I am creating a website that will future pictures. The photos will be organized under different catagories ranging from A to Z. The site will be set up with "Tabs". One tab for each letter in the alphabet. Each tap page will have a list of all the catagories for that letter. So lets say you are looking for pictures of a gorilla. You would click on the "G" tab, scroll down to the word Gorilla, click on it and then there would be pictures of gorillas. Currently I have about 10,000 catagories and about 250,000 pictures. Updates are done on a daily basis and can range from about 10 to over 100 pictures per catagory. How can I put automatic links onto my homepage that will show all the daily updates. I dont want to show updates for the pictures posted, just updates for the individual catagories that have been updated. So if I updated and added more picture to the Gorilla catagory, the hompage would have link on it that would say Gorilla. I hope this all makes sence and that someone can help me out with this. I need dreamweaver cs6.
I am currently taking a dreamweaver class and the version we are using is cs6. I downloaded the creative cloud to get a trial but it only allows me to download the cc version. Is there any way to either download a trial for cs6 or subscribe to it on a monthly basis?
